Are you ready to add the title of adventurer to your fun resume? You are?! Then get onboard one of Royal Caribbean’s mega ships. I’m about to embark on a most exciting voyage of Royal Caribbean cruises shore excursions and I want you to accompany me.
Excited?! You should be. Let’s start with my favourite- Labadee, Haiti; a private port of call exclusive to Royal Caribbean.
Now offering 7 distinct neighbourhoods, Labadee offers up all the excitement you desire.
You can choose from a very exhilarating coaster ride which takes you 680 ft. high up into Lookout Mountain, bringing you back down at a speed of 30 miles per hour.
There is also Spa Cabanas where you can enjoy a relaxing massage or you can take a nature trail through one of Haiti’s remaining spectacular rainforest.
If you are an art collector, Labadee also offers an Artisan's Village and Market/Showcase where you can shop at over 70 locations and even get to watch an artisan at work.
Other neighbourhoods include Dragon’s Lookout and a Village Amphitheatre.
Ships including Oasis of the Seas, Allure of the Seas, Freedom of the Seas and Liberty of the Seas all make stops at Labadee. This exclusive port of call is usually featured in Western Caribbean Cruises.
Here’s a list of other exhilarating shore excursions on offer by Royal Caribbean cruises.
Adventure Tours: Choose from horseback riding, mountain biking, parasailing, rain forest hiking, and 4x4 off-roading.
Beach and/or Water-Related Activities: Enjoy a beach day out or do some whitewater rafting, glass-bottom boat tours, deep-sea fishing or kayaking.
Cuisine Tours: Get a taste of the indigenous flavours of your various ports of call by sampling scrumptious dishes and drinks.
Golf: Make sure your backhand is in good order as you will need your strength to tee off on exciting golf courses like the Cozumel Country Club, Bermuda's Belmont Hills Golf Club, or St. Thomas' Mahogany Run Golf Course.
